Senior Building Surveyor
This is an outstanding opportunity for a Building Surveyor with post-qualification experience to grow their career with a forward-thinking organisation progressing towards Chartership.
Successful candidate will play a key role in delivering exceptional client service, mentoring junior team members, and contributing to exciting projects across multiple sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
•Manage and deliver a variety of Building Surveying and project management duties across multiple sectors.
•Assist in developing both new and repeat business opportunities.
•Build and maintain strong client relationships and oversee service delivery on a project-by-project basis.
•Apply and administer standard building contracts (e.g., JCT and NEC).
•Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
•Conduct defect analysis, building surveys, and prepare detailed reports and specifications.
•Provide services in sectors such as education, local authorities, healthcare, central government, and infrastructure.
•Promote and uphold quality, health, safety, and environmental standards within projects.
•Contribute to business growth by identifying and developing fee-earning opportunities.
•Deliver professional services such as party wall matters, asset management, and statutory applications.
•Party wall experience desirable.
•Dilapidation experience
Additional Duties:
•Conduct due diligence, and to conduct condition, and measured surveys.
•Lead small to medium-sized construction projects.
Requirements / Qualifications:
•BSc (Hons) Building Surveying - RICS accredited degree.
•Proven all-round surveying experience.
•Experience in both pre- and post-contract project management, with a strong ability to deliver client-focused services.
•Willingness to travel as required.
•Skills in Microsoft Word/Excel.
•Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
