Technician (AutoCad & Revit 3D)
Working for a global engineering consultancy specialising in port and harbour engineering, electrical engineering, cold storage, and mining infrastructure projects.
About The Role / Candidate:
Skilled Technician proficient in AutoCAD and 3D Revit to join a dynamic team.
•The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and designs for various engineering projects, including port infrastructure, electrical systems, and mining facilities.
•Produce high-quality technical drawings using AutoCAD and 3D Revit for port, harbour, electrical, cold storage, and mining infrastructure projects.
•Collaborate with engineers and design teams to develop and refine designs.
•Ensure accuracy and consistency in drawings and models, meeting the specifications and design standards.
•Revise and update drawings based on feedback from project engineers and architects.
•Assist in preparing layout plans, schematics, and construction drawings.
•Prepare material schedules and assist with technical documentation.
•Ensure drawings are in line with company standards and industry best practices.
•Work on a variety of international projects, contributing to the design of major infrastructure developments.
•Maintain organised and up-to-date files of all project drawings.
Qualifications and Experience
•Proficient in AutoCAD and 3D Revit software.
•A minimum of 5 years of experience in drafting, preferably in civil, electrical, or
infrastructure-related projects.
•Knowledge of engineering design principles and practices.
•Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex technical specifications
•Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
•Excellent communication skills to interact with engineers and other team members
Desirable Skills:
•Previous experience in port and harbour engineering or similar infrastructure projects.
•Familiarity with engineering design standards and construction documentation.
•Experience working on international projects or in multidisciplinary teams.
