Our clients are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer with a strong background in Aramco projects, particularly in handling the Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) phase.
Job Description
▪The MAC engineer will assist the project Lead in designing new control systems based on initial designs and contribute to the development of control system design deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
▪Develop specifications for control systems in accordance with Aramco standards.
▪Contribute to the development of control system design deliverables, including support for P&IDs and Instrument Lists.
▪Collaborate with client counterparts and vendors to develop the minimum requirements for control systems and interfaces with packages.
▪Support risk assessments such as Safety Integrity Level (SIL), Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA), and Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOP).
▪Prepare ICSS technical requisitions and conduct bid evaluations.
▪Assist in the development of Process Control narratives, Cause and Effect diagrams
▪Demonstrate working knowledge of IEC 61508 & IEC 61511.
▪Perform assigned automation-related job functions, including the creation of I/O lists.
▪Interface with electrical systems and MCC to develop the necessary I/Os.
▪Experience in Brownfield onshore projects preferred
▪Works closely with the Process Design and Project Teams to ensure the successful execution of project studies.
▪Experience working with multiple centres.

4 days in office / 1 day remote
Salary: circa £60 ph
