RGA added a new position ▪Buyer
Ideal candidate will join a team working on an onshore carbon capture project.
Candidates will preferably have experience on both services and materials.
They will join the team in London for approximately six months to become familiar with company processes and familiarisation purposes. In around September 2025 they will mobilise to site in North Wales where they will be working until September 2026 (minimum).
Role includes:
•Preparation/negotiation of project contracts and P.O's and keep track of the relevant documents.
•Assist Commercial department by obtaining quotations & issuing pre-agreements.
•Develop a department supply chain data base of key suppliers within the renewable sector.
•Manage variation order requests.
•Liaise with department and project staff in relation to purchasing requests and keep them informed on technical, price and availability matters.
•Assist with other departmental duties
•Ensure activities comply with Government acts and statutory regulations.
•Any other duties within own experience and capability as advised by Department Manager.
Software:
•In depth understanding and experience of negotiating high value subcontracts and purchase orders within the oil & gas sector.
•Familiarity with SAP for creating and processing subcontracts and POs essential.
•Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) required.
•Member of a Purchasing Institute preferable but not essential.
Rate: £Neg depending on experience
Status: Outside IR35
Location: Kingston - 3 days in office/ 2 days remote
