Engineering graduate to focus on engineering materials and welding fabrication.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of projects - ranging from offshore wind farms to oil and gas infrastructures.
Ideal candidates are required to hold both an undergraduate degree in materials science AND a master's degree in welding engineering - this is an absolute must.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate:
Some work experience in material engineering would be advantageous.
A theoretical background in ferrous alloys and corrosion resistance alloys (CRA)
Understanding of chemical and mechanical properties as well as manufacturing processes in relation to alloys used in offshore / subsea applications
Excellent interpersonal skills
The ability to communicate clearly and with purpose
