CAD BIM/Revit Coordinator
Our clients are Mechanical and Electrical Contractors, known for delivering building services solutions to Commercial, Residential and Refurbishment sector and looking for an experienced permanent Revit Coordinator to become part of their team.
The lead coordinator will be supporting the Cad Manager with the design of detailed technical drawings to ensure stakeholder satisfaction with overall projects.
Reviewing drawings to ensure adherence to established specifications, generate drawings and maintain engineering database per the company policy and procedures.

Have willingness to take ownership and responsibility for your workload and support the project management, site teams and build, maintain and manage relationships with all the relevant stakeholders.
Ideal candidate will be:
-A proficient user of the following software, 3D CAD Packages such as AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, BIM360 and Recap.
-Hold a recognised qualification in building services or 5 years CAD experience.
-Building Services experience in mechanical and electrical coordination of all M&E service with the building structure.
-Interpret Consultants design drawings and coordinate all mechanical and electrical services at high and low level and plant room areas.
-Coordinate mechanical and electrical services with the architectural design and structural engineer’s details.
-To provide all CAD services to the mechanical and electrical operations department.
-Take a lead role in coordinating a project with the support of the other CAD team members. Including attending client coordination / design meetings as the lead Coordinator.
-Throughout the project monitor the drawing release program to ensure we maintain program dates.
-Preparation of all CAD coordinated drawings, schematics and record drawings.
-To provide solutions to coordination issues faced on site to the project site team in a timely and cost effective manner.
-Ensure mark-up drawings are provided from site in a timely manner to enable the record drawings to be ready for the handover of the project.
-Manage CAD sub-contractors working for the company if utilised on the project(s) being lead.
-Be the lead point of contact for the department when the CAD/BIM Manager is not present.
-Attend client meetings on behalf of the company / BIM Manager if required.
Key Result Areas
-Ensure all CAD drawings and documentation is produced, signed and approved by an Engineer prior to issue.
-Ensure documentation is accurate and kept up to date and that all deadlines are kept.
-To observe and abide by the Company’s policies and procedures including H&S
-All your office and site activities will be client facing and as a result you are our representative to the client. At all times you will be expected to maintain a professional appearance and manner, be punctual, helpful and courteous to clients, colleagues and other contractors on site.
-To ensure all equipment including Lap Top, Mobile Phone provided to you are kept secure and in good order. Ensure equipment is up to date and calibrated.
-To work with and support colleagues and other departments as and when required.
