Power System Studies Engineer on a range of projects for an initial 12 month contract role that has an immediate start
Job Description:
Our clients are looking for a Power systems studies engineer to support various projects which are focused on grid connections at voltages up to 220kV.
Studies will include load flow, short circuit, dynamic motor starting, transient stability and protection co-ordination.
Tasks will include:
▪Running power system studies and overseeing third party vendors providing power system studies for projects including EMT software.
The Software for all power system studies is ETAP.
The role will be based on 5 days a week in the client's offices in Leatherhead.
Hybrid working may be possible with two days remote.
The role is likely to be outside IR35 but the final decision will be made after a Qdos assessment
