Lead Operations Engineer / Project Manager
As a Lead Operations Engineer, you will be joining a global leader in engineering, procurement, construction, and installation services for the energy industry.
The job involves the opportunity to work on the installation of a jacket and topsides as well as the associated subsea infrastructure in support of a large field development in the Black Sea.
The primary mission of the Lead Operations Engineer is to lead the readiness for the semi-submersible heavy lift vessel and its associated marine spread as well as be the project representative on-board the vessel during the offshore construction activities.
The role of the Lead Operations Engineer consists of the following responsibilities:
- Develop and prepare technical documents related to his/her work package(s).- Follow-up the procurement and logistics plan related to his/her work package(s).
- Review the installation engineering of his/her work package(s).
- Lead the subcontracting activities associated to his/her work package(s).
- Interface with Vessel Management Team / ASSET and OPERATIONS departments regarding the preparations of the Mobile Assets and vessel.
- Coordinate the project qualifications and tests (FAT / SIT) jointly with fabrication yards.
- Lead the mobilization and demobilization activities of his / her vessel and associated marine spread.
- Interface with Project Marine Advisor regarding the vetting of the vessels (Marine assurance plan).
- Take an active part in the Operations Review and Project Risk Assessment process.
- Coordinate the offshore operations on-board the vessel as project representative.
- Follow-up the project close-out of the invoicing process.
The secondary responsibility, will consist of:
- Support the Project Operations Manager (or delegate) related to the readiness of the vessel.
