Senior & Principal Electrical Engineers (multiple roles)

Rate ·Circa £50 - £60 p/h for Senior Engineer & £60 - £65 for Lead Engineer
Duration ·12 months plus
Ideal candidates:
· Must hold a relevant degree
· Ideally have experience in EPC/Detailed design with Aramco experience
Project Scope:
The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the execution of project work, in accordance with the Discipline Design Instructions, including Company and / or Project Procedures on Safety and Quality Control, within the man - hour, cost budgets and the project schedule targets.
Deliverables of the individual contactor:
The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for producing the following deliverables:
·Design, review, and approve electrical systems and layouts according to project requirements and industry standards.
·Coordinate with project teams including civil, mechanical, and instrumentation engineers to integrate electrical solutions effectively.
·Conduct electrical load calculations, system simulations, and prepare technical specifications and documentation.
·Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
·Monitor project progress, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement corrective measures as necessary.
·Ensure compliance with national, international and local electrical codes, standards including Aramco SAES, and regulations in Saudi Arabia.
·Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior electrical engineers and technical staff.
·Collaborate with clients, vendors, and contractors to ensure timely and within-budget project delivery.
·Carry out Electrical System study (ETAP)

The Principal Electrical Engineer will be responsible for producing the following deliverables:
·Base of Design, Specification, Load list, Datasheet, Calculation, Single line diagram, Equipment sizing, MTO, drawings, diagrams
·Carry out Electrical System study (ETAP)
·Input to layout, equipment list and cost estimate
Manage electrical engineering services such as:
1. Participate in relevant meetings, prepare progress reports and comply with the required checking procedures
2. Ensure the project scope is clear and that changes comply with project change management processes
3. Provide advice during procurement, oversee requisitions, technical bid evaluations
·Ensure compliance with national, international and local electrical codes, standards including Aramco SAES, and regulations in Saudi Arabia.
·Design of motor protection and control schematics/wiring diagrams
·Review vendor designs for compliance with Technical Specifications and applicable standards
·Attend project team meetings, Client meetings and vendor review meetings
·Establish a good working relationship with the Clients
