Civil Engineer - Infrastructure Design
The Role:
Our client is seeking a capable and experienced Civil Engineer with a minimum of 5 years in the profession to support the design and delivery of heavy infrastructure projects.
Ideal candidate will contribute to engineering assessments, design development, and technical documentation, collaborating within a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities:
•Produce detailed civil engineering designs, drawings, and calculations.
•Design of pavements, drainage networks
•Carry out engineering evaluations, design analysis, and feasibility studies.
•Prepare technical documentation, specifications, and structured engineering reports.
•Work collaboratively with engineers, project managers, and design teams to ensure aligned deliverables.
•Support site inspections, constructability assessments, and design resolution activities.
•Assist in project scheduling, planning, and estimation.
•Maintain awareness of current engineering standards, technical developments, and best practice methodologies.
Requirements:
•Minimum 5 years’ professional civil engineering experience.
•Experience in infrastructure, foundations, pavements, structural or related civil design areas preferred.
•Proficiency in engineering software and analytical tools.
•Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.
•Broad awareness of safety, quality, sustainability, and engineering compliance.
•Ability to work onsite Monday-Friday, with flexibility available post-probation.
Status: Permanent
Location: Kingston | 5 days office based
Salary: Up to £50k depending on experience
