Electrical Package Manager on an Greenfield Electrification Project for an initial 12 month contract role that has an immediate start
Candidate Experience:
Project Manager who possesses significant experience in electrical engineering.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of the major electrical packages for a significant 'normally unattended' Greenfield facility.
The project also comprises brownfield aspects requiring interface engagement.
The successful candidate will be the focal point between the Client's PMT and the PMT, procurement and engineering teams.
They should have solid engineering background to facilitate technical issues resolution and shall have prior experience of working with major equipment suppliers, in roles of package engineer or package manager. Experience of ICSS design will also be an advantage.
Packages:
The main packages include Synchronous Condensers, CLRs and main Electrical equipment such as 110kV switchgear, transformers, switchgear, VSD etc.
The role includes:
The successful candidate will be looking across those major packages to drive the multi-functional delivery of the RFQ process, including integrating with the construction team on ROS dates, build sequence etc. and facilitating stakeholder buy in. They will be supporting the engineering disciplines with a broad understanding of the scope.
They shall have solid engineering background to facilitate technical issues resolution and shall have prior experience of working with major equipment suppliers, in roles of package engineer or package manager. Experience of ICSS design will also be an advantage.
Building strong working relationships with Client and prospective suppliers will be critical.
The role will be based on 5 days a week in Leatherhead. Hybrid working may be possible with two days remote.
The role is likely to be outside IR35 but the final decision will be made after a Qdos assessment
