Subsea Structural Engineer

Our client is currently looking for an experienced Subsea Structural Engineer to join the team in London working on a large subsea installation based in South America.

Skills required:

- Capable of performing subsea structural analysis works and develop technical solutions to design requirements.
- Degree qualified structural engineer with min. 5 years design experience in offshore subsea structures (such as, FLETs, Manifolds, Suction piles and large mud-mats).
- Knowledge of structural computational modelling and analysis (FEA).

Software and qualifications:
- FEA software ABAQUS (2D shell and 3D solid elements)
- Beam software SACS and hand calculations
- Knowledge of the standards API 2A WSD, AISC 9th Edition (structures) and DNV-ST-N001 (marine operation).
- Experience with MathCAD software is preferred

Location: Kingston / Hybrid role (3 days office + 2 days WFH)
Rate : £Rate negotiable
Status : Outside IR35
